CONDITIONS OF BOOKING AND RENTAL

(PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY)


1.   A deposit of £25 plus the cancellation/holiday insurance, together with a correctly completed booking form secures reservation, subject to availability.  50% of total pitch fees are required for touring site reservation.

2.  HOLIDAY CANCELLATION INSURANCE IS MANDATORY, details or which can be found below. The cost of this insurance is £12.00 for up to 3 days and £22.00 for up to 7 days and £12 for a second week or part week. Please enclose payment along with your deposit.

3.   Final instalment must be received 28 days prior to start of holiday or said holiday is deemed to have been cancelled.  Deposits are NOT refundable and balance will be charged if caravan is not re-let or let at a lower rate.

4.   Bookings are from 3.30pm afternoon of arrival   to 10.00am morning of departure unless agreed otherwise in writing.   If arrival   is   to    be   after 5.30pm or subject to unforeseen delays the office must be notified.

5.  Occupation is restricted to families, all male and female parties    accepted   at   Management's discretion. Only parties noted on the Booking Form are allowed to use accommodation and this must not exceed number of berths or sleeping capacity provided.

6.   Payment may be made by Visa, Debit Card or Cheque/Postal Orders.,  crossed and made payable to President Leisure Ltd. Cash by Registered Post. Cheques for late booking must be received 7 days prior to commencement or covered by a Banker's Card.

7.   Holiday makers must   check   inventory of accommodation on arrival and report any shortages or damage. All shortages or damage will be the responsibility of the holidaymakers on departure.

8.    Accommodation must be kept in a clean and tidy   condition and left in such condition on departure.

9.    No open fires or unsecured barbecues shall be started on the site.  No   firearms, air rifles or explosives may be used on park or kept   in accommodation units. 

  1. Musical instruments, radios, etc., must not be used excessively between 11.00pm and 7.30am.

11.  Dogs must be kept on leads whilst on the Park and not exercised near accommodation units or the main complex.  Please be considerate to non-pet owners.  Pets must not be allowed to lie on the bedding or seats. Pets are not allowed in any of the park buildings  (unless guide dogs).  Please be considerate to other holidaymakers.

12.  Speed limit is 5mph.   Vehicles must be licensed, MOT'd, insured and driven by licensed driver.   

13.  Any person found vandalizing or deliberately damaging company property will be liable for prosecution and removal from the park.

14.   Silver Sands Leisure Park and its employees will not be liable for any loss, damage or theft, injury, accident   mishap to   any   person   or property howsoever caused unless Silver Sands Leisure Park or its employees have contributed to it by negligence.

15.   Rents are accepted and customers remain on the park only as long as they abide by the park rules and conditions and any posted notices.  Any person not doing so will be removed from the Park at the Management's sole discretion.

16.    No person under   the age of 18 will be permitted to purchase or consume alcoholic liquor in the licensed premises.   No person under 14 years will be permitted in the bar and a responsible adult must accompany those aged between 14 and 18 years of age. This will be enforced. Admission to the bar is at the sole discretion of the Management.

17.    Children under the age of 16 yrs should not be   left   unattended   at    any    time    in    the accommodation for their own safety.

18.  The above conditions are meant to protect the average holidaymaker against any unreasonable person. Please consider your neighbours especially when leaving or returning to your holiday home.

19.   Caravans towed by or accompanied by commercial type vehicles may be excluded from the Park. Please check with the Manager.

Holiday Homes are available for entry after 3.30pm on day of arrival. Vacate by 10:00am on day of departure.

Important notice; The services on the Park are run in accordance with demand and time of year, but will always be available 7days/ wk in the high season. Please check before booking if you wish to know the hours.

HOLIDAY/CANCELLATION INSURANCE IS MANDATORY - At Silver Sands Leisure Park, we believe   insurance   cover   is vital, and    we automatically arrange standard cover unless you submit to us, at the time of booking, documentary evidence that you have taken equivalent or higher cover   elsewhere.   The free insurance cover provided by some credit card   companies is inadequate, as is the E111 form.   We will not accept a booking   without proof of adequate insurance. The cost of this insurance is £12.00 for up to 3 days and £22.00 for up to 7 days and £12.00 for second week or part week.   Please enclose payment along with your deposit.

LOSS   OF    DEPOSIT, CANCELLATIONS, CURTAILMENT - Cover is   granted up to the holiday cost for amounts forfeited if the journey is cancelled for most reasons beyond your control provided these occur after the date of effecting this Insurance.  Benefit is also payable if the holiday period is similarly curtailed.

BAGGAGE, DELAYED BAGGAGE AND MONEY

Baggage is covered up to £500 - a single article limit of £100 applies (including pair or sets). A limit of £100 applies to all valuables.  Up to  £100 is payable for the purchase of essentials if delivery of the baggage is delayed for more than 12 hours. Loss of cash. Traveller's cheques. travel tickets. etc., are insured up to £200 in total.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT - In the event of death, loss of eyes or limbs, or   permanent    total disablement the sum of £2,000 will be paid.  The death benefit for minors under 16 or persons over retirement age is limited to £1,000.

PERSONAL LIABILITY - An indemnity is provided up to £1,000,000 for legal liability to third parties for their property. All costs and expenses incurred with insurers consent will be paid.

ADDITIONAL EXPENSES - Cover is   provided   in   respect of additional accommodation  or increased return travel costs through death, injury or illness during the period of travel up to £700.

CLAIMS - All claims must be advised in writing to Whiteley Insurance Consultants within 31   days.   It is important to obtain a Police Report for Money and Theft Claims. A Medical Certificate is required for all involving personal accident or illness. The first £25 of each claim is excluded under   certain sections of the Policy.   A swift claim service is provided. FULL POLICY CONDITIONS Details of which can be forwarded on receipt of booking confirmation or can be sent on request.
